Baptism is the way and joy is the reward - February 26, 2018

Hi everyone! It has been a crazy wonderful week! On Wednesday we had transfers. I said a sad goodbye to Sister Fisher and brought a new missionary to life! My new companion's name is Sister Nelson. She's 21, from Salt Lake, and has been attending the University of Utah studying pre nursing. She is amazing!!! Although she just came from the MTC, she is such a naturally gifted missionary and has been preparing to serve a mission for so long! I'm very lucky to be her companion! Oh also, it's been snowing!! Not the usual Washington weather, I think my companion brought the Utah weather to Washington! Friday and Saturday were long days of working hard and seeing lots of different people! We witnessed so many miracles these days! One of the miracles was teaching spunky 83 year old Marilyn. She fed us rotten cake and club soda and talked our ear off and then offered a prayer that lasted 20 minutes! She wants her baptism by immersion and is preparing to be baptized on March 25th. We had another lesson with 11 year old Collin on the Word of Wisdom and Law of Chastity. His lessons are always exciting and so funny! He'll be getting baptized on Sunday! As of right now, we have 5 people on date for baptism and are working with several others! I would really appreciate if you each prayed for the following people: Arvin, Katherine, Collin, Dennis, Monica, Marilyn, Lyubov, Mandy and her kids, the Whittecars, and Peter. Each of them have felt the spirit and have had a desire to progress in the gospel. They are very special people in my life and each have their own personal challenges and concerns. I know that each of them have a lot of potential to become like the Savior and be baptized! Sunday was the happiest day of my whole life! Paige and Jackson Bergman were finally baptized!!! My heart is just so full with joy and love! After Paige was baptized, she talked all about how happy she was! This has been a long process that's been SO worth it! We were able to travel up to Bremerton to attend their baptism. It was great to see some of my absolute favorite people in Manette. I sure do love that ward! Thanks for all the love and support!
