Goodbye Mountain View, hello Skyline - January 8, 2018

Hello everyone! We received our transfer calls and crazy news! Sister Pullins and I are both leaving and are being replaced by Elders. I'll be headed to the big city in the Skyline Tacoma ward and Sister Pullins is headed to Lakewood. And even better, Sister Fisher will be my companion! We served in the same district and she was my STL 2nd transfer. The dream team is back in business. It'll definitely be a new experience and I'm very excited for what's to come, but am heartbroken to leave Mountain View. We have some amazing investigators that are well on their way towards baptism and I've made some eternal friends. So please continue to pray for them! I have full trust and confidence that God has a very specific plan for each one of us and places us where we need to be. So Skyline, here I come! This week, we had the opportunity of going to the Portland Temple with our recent convert Ed! And it was definitely on my top 3 list of happiest days. Because of new church policy, he was able to baptize us! Believe me, there's no greater joy than seeing the gospel completely change someone's life and then experiencing them using their Priesthood authority. It was so wonderful and a day that I'll never forget! We each felt the presence of our ancestors as we were performing the work. The Temple is so special!
