More miracles - August 21, 2017

Hi friends! This week was amazing and we were able to see even more miracles. Our first miracle is that we finally were able to get our glove box in our car fixed. The very first night that we were here, the glove box jammed and as we were yanking to get it open, we broke the handle right off! Just our luck. I'm happy to say that after many trips to the car dealership, we were able to get a brand new glove box finally!! The next miracle is that we were able to go on exchanges Friday. I went to Tacoma with Sister Webb who is from Lehi, Utah. We witnessed many miracles knocking doors and got some really good frozen yogurt. I really liked it, but I'm happy to be back in Manette with Sister Codling. Another miracle is the amount of blackberries that I've eaten. Blackberries grow as weeds everywhere here in Washington!! Everyone here makes everything out of blackberries! I've had blackberry lemonade, blackberry cobbler, blackberry salad, you name it! I've had just about everything you can think of to putting blackberries in. It's probably unhealthy the amount of blackberries I've eaten since I've gotten here. Yesterday we were able to have a lesson with William Connely and his mom Melissa. Melissa is a member and has been less active for years. She recently went through a nasty divorce and wanted to start fresh, so she moved here to Bremerton and started coming back to church! William is 14 and is the cutest little guy. He just recently started coming to church with his mom and loves how nice and welcome everyone is! We taught him the Restoration which was so cool, because he's a 14 year old boy searching for the truth just as Joseph Smith was! At the end of the lesson, we asked him to pray out loud and he prayed that he knew he needed to be baptized! He's preparing to be baptized on September 2nd! We're also working with the cutest family! Their last name is the Crowleys and we knocked on their door during 5-7 tracting. They had never heard of the Mormon Church, but have been reading the Book of Mormon and are coming to church! We see the two boys riding their bikes around town all the time. We've been seeing more miracles through hard work and obedience. It's amazing and I know that God truly knows and loves each one of His children!
