Hey fam, I hope you all had a wonderful week! On Monday for P day, Sister Fisher and I explored downtown Tacoma and ate at a fancy little Thai restaurant. It's been so fun to be in the big city! On Tuesday we helped an old Russian lady carry in her groceries. She didn't speak any English, but was very appreciative and fed us homemade Russian dumplings! It was honestly one of the best things I've eaten in my life. On Wednesday we had district meeting and I was assigned to give a training on Love and Charity. We talked a lot about how love always overcomes fear! Love is the first and greatest commandment that we are given! On Friday we received a prompting to knock doors in our apartment complex. We talked to a Vietnamese man named Timothy who was visiting his friend. He kept saying how it was no coincidence that we ran into him and that God had sent us to talk to him. On Sunday we were doing a church roundup in the morning and saw him walking by the side of the road. He walked several miles to get all the way to church! It was amazing to see the sacrifice and the joy that he felt by coming to church and partaking of the spirit there. He LOVED it! Thank you all for the support and love that you've given me! I absolutely love being here and the joy that comes through missionary work! Have a wonderful week!
