The field is green all ready to harvest - July 31, 2017

Hi everybody, I'm alive! So far, I'm loving Washington! Like seriously, it's the most beautiful place that I've ever been to. I might just live here forever. I'm serving in Bremerton, Washington in the Manette Ward. Best ward! The members are amazing and so strong in the church. This ward has existed for 100 years now, so the ward has been celebrating by making a lot of "100 goals." Two of these goals includes handing out 100 Books of Mormon as ward as well as bringing 100 investigators to church! Go Manette Ward! My companion is Sister Codling from Cedar Hills, Utah. She's amazing! We get along so well and have been working super hard! We both are brand new to the area, so we've been doing our best to figure out the cute little town of Bremerton. The best way for me to describe where I'm serving at are as follows: -GREEN -Drugs are a huge issue here. It's the most disgusting thing. -Every single household has HUGE ferocious dogs. I'm not even exaggerating when I say this. But good news, I have not yet been eaten. -Cultural diversity -Amazing food. Especially the teriyaki here. -We're basically on a small beautiful island -Most amazing people!!! I really am so lucky to be here and I love being a missionary! We've set so many extremely high goals that we fully intend to accomplish. I have never worked harder in my life and I've loved it! Here's some fun info about my mission: -Everyday, the whole mission goes around knocking doors from 5-7pm. -We have a goal of 617 baptisms for the year. -Every morning at 9:50, the whole mission kneels down and prays together wherever we may be. -Our motto is "In the Wa-tac, we baptize!" -Our goal is 333 new investigators at church each week. -Our mission song is "Amazing Grace" and is so powerful when we all sing it. -We all rep fanny packs. If you want to be updated on the mission, you can follow this blog! http://wa-tacmission.blogspot.com/ I've met the most amazing people here! This week, Sister Codling and I met the Bergman family. They have 7 kids (which is very unusual in Washington) and they're all non members besides the mom. We've been going over to their house almost everyday and they've made us feel so welcome! Everyone please pray for them to be baptized! I've run out of time, but I love you all and your emails mean the world to me! I'll include pictures next week!
